Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment

With the launch of new technologies every week, it’s often a struggle to know what to do with your old Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) waste. Following the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU coming in to force in 2014, a new importance has been placed on redirecting electrical waste from landfill.

At Alpha Logic, we look for viable ways to recycle and reuse WEEE waste before it’s sent to landfill. Electrical and electronic equipment that falls under the WEEE Directive includes:

  • Household appliances such as washing machines, irons and kettles
  • Entertainment equipment including televisions, stereos and video players
  • Power tools
  • IT and telecommunications equipment
  • Electronic toys, leisure and sports equipment
  • Medical devices.

Our customers can rest assured that we will safely dispose of any WEEE waste. With our in-depth knowledge of the WEEE Directive, we cover everything including the documentation.
