University of St Mark and St John
Based in Plymouth, the University of St Mark and St John has around 3,500 students. The University prides itself on its commitment to protecting the environment and sustainability – from turning food waste into energy, through to the installation of new energy efficient boilers.
Following a comprehensive waste audit, Alpha Logic highlighted a number of ways in which the university could improve its recycling efforts across the campus and, ultimately, reduce the volume of waste sent to landfill.
The team at Alpha Logic created a complete waste management solution for the university to help in its mission to reduce its environmental impact and divert waste from landfill.
“The University of St Mark and St John chose Alpha Logic to manage our waste disposal as they provided the most innovative and environmentally-friendly solution.
“Since we have been working together, the campus is tidier and levels of recycling have risen. We are proud to be a truly ‘Zero to Landfill’ university and even our food waste is no longer sent to fill overstretched landfill sites; instead it is used to generate green electricity locally.
“For an innovative waste management solution that will be tailored to your needs, I have no hesitation in recommending Alpha Logic.”
