Alpha Logic now able to pick trade waste up direct from commercial customers
Apr 20, 2017
Adding to its existing fleet of nine specialist waste collection vehicles, Alpha Logic has now invested in its first refuse truck, to provide a direct trade waste service to its customers.
Previously the forward thinking waste management company had collected trade waste from clients by subcontracting to other waste teams but now Alpha will be able to save their clients time and money as well as limiting the impact to the local environment, by using their new vehicle, based on site in Plymouth.
The new vehicle, a Mercedes Econic Dennis Eagle Olympus 23W, is fitted with state of the art collection equipment including a Beta Trade Bin Lift and an AMCS bin weighing system, which will enable quick, clean and efficient removal of waste from even the most difficult of sites to leave the streets of Plymouth refuse-free.
Alpha has invested £168,000 in this new waste solution and hopes to add a similar, second vehicle to the fleet over the next year or so. This investment in more efficient, safer and faster removal of commercial waste is part of Alpha’s long term vision for growth: the company has expanded its workforce in the last few years from 22 employees to 28 and expects turnover for 2016 to be £2.7 million, with the aim of breaking £3 million in 2017. A true Plymouth success story…
